Channel Restoration

Over the years, PARISH Geomorphic Ltd. has completed a wide range of restoration design projects. Channel restoration can involve the stabilization of individual meanders, including bank erosion control, to several kilometers of channel realignment. The scale of complexity of the channel designs has evolves to a point where a true natural channel (one with no structural protection, relying on vegetation to stabilize the banks) can be designed and constructed. Our team at PARISH Geomorphic Ltd. can provide the full-range of services required for such designs, from the initial site assessment, field data collection, analyses and design development, CAD work to produce design drawings, erosion and sediment control plans, to permitting, tendering and constructing supervision.
