Greater Cardinal Creek

The purpose of this project was to provide an overview of existing conditions on Cardinal Creek and to determine if any remediation work was necessary at this time. An extensive background review of recently completed reports was included along with a rapid stream assessment of the lower reaches to confirm the findings of past reports. Based on the previous reports and the rapid assessment, two areas of concern were identified, Reach C11 near the dairy and Reach C10 upstream of Old Montreal Road. Due to the proximity of the creek to infrastructure, Reach C10 upstream of Old Montreal Road was identified as a priority for channel remediation.
