Ms. Gorenc joined PARISH Geomorphic Ltd. in August of 2003. She graduated with a Masters in Physical Geography from the University of Guelph where her thesis focused on the role of sediment in the transport of heavy metals within the Yangtze River Estuary, China. In addition to her work in China, Shelley has also worked on numerous rivers within the northeastern United States and across Ontario. Prior to joining the company, Shelley worked for the Grand River Conservation Authority and the Ministry of Natural Resources on the Grand River Exceptional Waters Project as a field technician. Her responsibilities currently include historical data analysis, erosion assessment support, GIS and spatial analysis.
